American Library Association Campaign
The goal of this campaign is to grab people’s attention and engage them on reading in a new, more personable, engaging, and involved way that garners genuine interest and a need to find out the whole story. By using cinematic angles and composition, illustrated graphics, handwritten copy, and a gripping quote, the designs accomplish this. I want to stop viewers in their tracks, make them stop, ponder, and feel the need to know where this quote comes from, what the full story is behind it, and who is telling it. Sometimes the goal of a design is to tell a story; here I am only revealing part of it, in hopes the viewer will be left hooked enough to seek the rest for themselves, preferably at their nearest library.
